
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team will play its third straight home game when it hosts Eastern Illinois on Wednesday night. The Buckeyes have won the previous two meetings between the two programs, though neither has been in the past decade. They won 72-59 in 2001, then 69-50 in 2003. Both of those games were during the regular season at a time when OSU was unranked, just as this one will be. This will be the Panthers’ second game against a Big Ten opponent.
