After laying out Terrapins, Justice Sueing hands out leis to fellow Ohio State seniors

The story goes that many years ago, Ti plants were brought to the Hawai’ian islands by the Polynesians. Now an integral part of the state’s culture, the plants are commonly planted around homes on the islands and used for both functional and spiritual purposes. Ti plants are believed to bring good luck to those who receive them, especially for those about to embark on a new journey. They grow best where temperatures are on the warmer end of things, which makes Central Ohio hostile territory even on an unseasonably warm first day of March. Thursday night inside Value City Arena, the Ohio State men’s basketball program was honoring five seniors before hosting No. 21 Maryland.
