For the past four springs, the man standing in the middle likely would have been coach Ryan Day. But on this day it was Brian Hartline, who Day promoted to offensive coordinator exactly for moments such as this. A few minutes later, Hartline held another, smaller huddle with his wide receiver room. He wanted to make sure they stayed hydrated and did not overwork over spring break next week.
