COLUMBUS, Ohio — C.J. Hicks has had little chance to impress Ohio State football fans so far, but he keeps earning the praise of the Buckeyes’ veteran linebackers. Last year, Teradja Mitchell raved about then then-true freshman. Last week, senior Steele Chambers called Hicks “the complete package.” Apparently he has receipts, in the form of the GPS speed readings, weight room results and other trackers. “Dude’s just athletic as hell,” said Chambers, OSU’s returning starter at Will. “His numbers are off the charts. … He’s smart. He puts all the work in. “He could be something special here.
