COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State earned a commitment on Monday from 2025 three-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs, a talented and speedy wideout from Cocoa, Florida. Boggs is ranked the No. 347 player in the country per 247Sports’ composite rankings, and became just the second player in the class, behind quarterback Tavien St. Clair. But the natural inclination for many after his commitment was to look quizzically at the three-star ranking, and wonder what’s up.
