COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jack Sawyer may have had the best game of his career in Ohio State’s 37-3 win over Minnesota and doing so sparked the eventual blowout win. Sawyer constantly found himself in the backfield finishing the game with 3.5 tackles for loss and a strip sack that was part of an early second-half surge that helped the Buckeyes put the game away. That game against the Golden Gophers had been something Sawyer had spent the entire season building towards as he’s beginning to peak at the right time. That’s shown in his Pro Football Focus grade of 91.8 which led all players.
