Can Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. use the Michigan game to win the Heisman Trophy? Buckeye Breakfast

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State has had a Heisman Trophy finalist in all but one season since Ryan Day has taken over as head coach but never has it gone as far as it’s gone this to make sure that one does so. Justin Fields and Chase Young got to New York City in 2019 and more often than not the Buckeyes let their bodies of work speak for themselves. The same can be said of C.J. Stroud who got there in 2021 and 2022. But Fields and Stroud were quarterbacks vying for an award that in recent years has become quarterback-centric. They didn’t need extra help to make their case. Young was the nation’s most dominant player and showcased that on the biggest possible stages.
