
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Four-star wide receiver Kaliq Lockett was nervous when he first started talking with Ohio State offensive coordinator Brian Hartline in the beginning of the fall. Little did he know that in only a few short months, he would become Hartline’s latest receiving target. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Lockett earned an offer from Ohio State football last Tuesday. Hartline visited Sachsel High School in Texas and sat down with the talented prospect. The conversation was short and sweet: Lockett was the next big target at Ohio State. “He said he loved my film, and he likes the way I worked,” Lockett said. “He (made) the offer and we have been on ever since.” The relationship has certainly accelerated.
