It all went bad for the Buckeyes, and it started from the get go. Starting pitcher Morgan Ray started in the circle but had a hard time finding the plate in the top of the first inning – walking two runs in and slinging a wild pitch that also scored one. Before the scarlet and gray even came to bat, they were facing a 4-0 deficit.
