Buckeye WR commit headed to The Opening finals

Wide receiver Gee Scott Jr. from Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic announced a commitment to Ohio State on Christmas Day. It was an absolutely huge pick up for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes as Scott Jr. is one of the country’s elite 2020 wide receivers. Scott Jr. showed his abilities at The Opening Regional Oakland and earned an invite to the prestigious The Opening Finals in Texas at the end of June. Scott Jr.’s performance included the second highest testing score of the day with a 123.78. Before Scott committed to Ohio State he was in Columbus and watched the Buckeyes roll up big offensive numbers through the air in their 49-26 win over the Hoosiers.
