The Buckeyes offered a scholarship to Massillon (Ohio) Washington 2021 wide receiver Jayden Ballard at their camp the summer of his freshman year. The offer came from then-head man Urban Meyer. At the time, the offer from the Buckeyes made six for Ballard. Ryan Day and Brian Hartline have continued to pursue Ballard and now have their man.
