
ALLEN PARK — Bob Quinn tried to trade out of his pick in the first round of the NFL draft and struck out. He tried to trade out of his pick in the second round and struck out there too. So he said to hell with it and is trading up instead. The Detroit Lions general manager moved up 10 spots in the third round and selected Ohio State guard Jonah Jackson with the 75th overall pick in the draft. The pick originally belonged to the Indianapolis Colts. The Lions also got the 197th overall pick in the trade, and forfeits the 85th (which was acquired in the Darius Slay trade), 149th and 182nd overall picks to Indianapolis.
