Buckeye Nation hopes for college football in the fall and the fans want to see the games in person despite the coronavirus pandemic. Any questions regarding this were dispelled this week when numbers came out detailing the number of season ticket renewals for Ohio State’s 2020 football season. According to a report from Joey Kaufman of The Columbus Dispatch, the school sold 44,320 season tickets for the upcoming season. While this number is down from the 50,868 season tickets sold last year, the 87 percent renewal rate gives Ohio State one of the largest season-ticket bases in the country and demonstrates Buckeye fans’ intent to watch their team live this fall.
