
COLUMBUS, Ohio ? Ten days ago, Dasan McCullough became the latest commitment in Ohio State football’s 2022 recruiting class. In some ways, he felt like a Buckeyes linebacker long before that. Al Washington, his future OSU position coach, began treating him like one of his own players already during the recruiting process. “When we first started talking he was definitely talking to me two to three times a week,” McCullough said in an interview for cleveland.com’s Buckeye Talk podcast. “That was a big deal at the time because not a lot of coaches were doing that — going over film with me, improving me as a player right now.
