COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s 2021 linebacker commit Reid Carrico has been putting up the type of numbers that would make a fantasy team owner smile all season for Ironton High School. The four-star recruit he’s been a leader of a defense that has managed two shutouts and allowed just 26 points this season. Twice have they held opponents under 100 total yards, and only one team has eclipsed the 200-yard mark. The Tiger’s defense has been stout, but it’s as a running back where Carrico has stood out. In five games, he’s run for 736 yards and 13 touchdowns on only 55 carries. He’s only had more than 15 rushing attempts in a game once.
