COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is in the running for a handful of five-star recruits in the 2022 recruiting class, and Enai White of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia became the latest to add himself to that list. The defensive lineman included the Buckeyes on a list with Alabama, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, and USC. White is the country’s No. 25 player and No. 2 weakside defensive end and one of three players at the position with an offer, all ranked as top 150 recruits. Ohio State wants to repeat its efforts of 2021, in which it’s chasing the country’s No. 1 class for the first time in the modern era.
