47 Penn State vs Ohio State, Oct. 30, 2021 PennLive Penn State lost to Ohio State, 33-24 Saturday night in front of a capacity crowd at Ohio Stadium. The Nittany Lions trailed 27-24 entering the fourth quarter, but could not score the rest of the way. PSU quarterback Sean Clifford went 25 of 52 for 361 yards a touchdown and an interception. The pick proved costly as Ohio State’s Cameron Brown ended a drive and set up a field goal for the Buckeyes. PSU did not threaten after that. The loss dropped the Nittany Lions to 5-3 on the season.
