Ohio State guard Jamari Wheeler was one of the many transfers who departed Penn State after the 2020-21 season, and he didn’t have to go far to find a new home in Columbus. Wheeler, a two-time Big Ten All-Defensive Team selection, has started all seven games for the Buckeyes this season, and he’s averaging 5.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 27.6 minutes per game. In four seasons at Penn State, Wheeler appeared in 127 games (84 starts) and averaged 3.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
